The Stuff Detox Drink Review
It doesn’t take a lab nerd to understand that one bottle of a fancy-colored drink and some water won’t magically remove all your party evidence.
But that’s what we see too often in detox drink advertising.
Because it seemed to be advertised a lot more, some of our readers were looking for a full The Stuff Detox review.
And as always, we were more than happy to help out.
We’ll cover what’s in it and how it works. And most importantly, you’ll also learn about how it worked out for our own urine drug test.
Let’s get right in.
What Is The Stuff Detox Drink?
The Stuff Detox drink is an herbal cleansing liquid that claims to be instant acting. As a dietary supplement, it’s aimed at helping people to remove some toxins that might build up over time.
Unfortunately, those toxins include some traces of THC. But it’s important to say from the start that The Stuff is not specifically designed to help pass a urine drug test.
However, some of the marketing material would leave you wondering.
The other thing to keep in mind is that most folks who plan on drinking some detox liquid would be looking out for their overall health.
I’m not sure 21 grams of sugar would classify as healthy.
What the company also claims is that through a natural blend of herbs, it should cause your normal detox processes to go into overdrive.
Apparently, “toxins and impurities don’t stand a chance!”
We’ll see about that shortly.
The Liquid Stuff Ingredients
There’s good news, and there’s bad news.
First of all, the product label does list out all the micronutrients, and at least some of these should have positive effects.
However, the actual amounts of herbal ingredients are hidden behind a proprietary blend. We’ve seen that too many times, and it just makes it quite difficult to figure out if it’s likely to be effective.
Anyway, let’s have a closer look.
1 – Vitamin Boost
On the nutrition label, there’s a long list of vitamins, and this is generally quite positive. Both your immune system and metabolism may rely on vitamins to process toxins on a day to day basis.
2 – Burdock Root
This is an ingredient that we’ve seen in a few different products. And there are some supporting medical studies that would suggest that it’s quite effective when it comes to triggering natural detox processes [1].
3 – Milk Thistle Leaf
This is another known antioxidant [2]. Extracted from plant seeds, you might find this in raw form in many health food stores as well.
4 – Nettle Leaf
I had heard of nettle tea being quite popular these days in the diet industry, but it does seem to have some strong toxin removal abilities that you shouldn’t ignore [3].
5 – Uva Ursi Leaf
I know, it sounds like something you’d expect to find in a headshop as an herb to smoke. However, in the health industry, this is going to be one of the more common detox ingredients [4].
6 – Creatine
This is an important ingredient. And it all comes down to the fact that when you follow the directions on the label, you’ll have to pee a lot.
But the more you pee, the more diluted your piss becomes, and that could be detected during a urine lab test.
What a small amount of creatine does is increase how much creatinine your body may produce. And this is a substance that has to be in a strong enough concentration in order to test negative.
How Does The Stuff Detox Drink Work?
The Stuff Detox drink works by triggering certain processes in your body that remove toxins from your blood. All drinks like this claim to work on a natural basis, and they often are one of the best ways to detox at home.
But what actually happens?
So, I won’t bore you with a college lecture, but it’s important to understand the method your body uses to remove certain chemicals. Your metabolism involves the liver and kidneys, which act as the main blood filtration system.
They are responsible for filtering and breaking down certain toxins, and a lot of those end up in your bladder.
And that’s why a urine test is so effective at telling whether you were partying a bit too much in the past couple of days and weeks.

And it should go without saying that a heavy smoker would generally build up a lot more chemicals that could be detected.
Now it’s time to show you the instructions.
The Stuff Detox Instructions and Timing
The instructions are quite straightforward, but even if you’re just a light marijuana smoker, you’ll need to follow them carefully.
First of all, plan for the day of the test by staying clean for at least two days. The initial detox process will take about one hour, so don’t leave this until the last minute.
Start by shaking the bottle and drinking the full contents within 15 minutes. This should be done at least 2 hours before taking a urine test.
You then refill the bottle with water and drink it within 15 minutes. At this stage, you’ll feel a bit bloated, and it won’t take long before you need to pee a lot. And you’d probably want to pee about three times to fully flush out your kidneys and bladder.
To keep the detox running for longer, you could also drink another 16-ounce bottle of water every 2 hours.
However, based on The Stuff Detox review comments, quite a few people weren’t able to pass tests when using it more than 3 hours before the test.

Does The Stuff Work For All Types Of Tests?
We did find The Stuff Detox review comments where people said they successfully passed a urine test.
I’ll get to our own test results shortly, but there is one important thing to remember.
These kinds of drinks that take advantage of flushing out your system with water, probably won’t be suitable for a heavy marijuana smoker. And they will definitely not work for hair or blood testing.
So, if you’re a heavy user or have to submit anything other than urine, a product like this is not what you’re looking for.
How Much Does It Cost And Where Can You Buy It?
The standard price is about $25, and you’ll sometimes see some bulk purchase offers. There are a couple of online retailers that offer it, but Amazon is usually one of the most reliable sources.
Unfortunately, when it comes to all types of supplements, our research has shown that there are too many fake products out there.
It’s always best to stick with reputable online retailers.
Does The Stuff Really Work?
I’ll be honest; I was actually a little bit excited based on the ingredients and The Stuff Detox review comments we saw.
However, our own test results didn’t seem to confirm those reviews. We tried this product on two separate days using standard urine test kits that labs use.
Our pass rate was only 50%, despite sticking to the instructions and testing after 2 and 3 hours. Overall, that isn’t a good enough pass result for us to be comfortable recommending it to our readers.
FAQ
How long before a drug test should I drink The Stuff?
You should drink The Stuff about 2 to 3 hours before a drug test. It’s a common time frame that is required for evidence of drugs to be flushed out of your kidneys. This reduces the concentration of chemicals to a point where things like THC should be less detectable.
How long does The Stuff take to work?
The Stuff takes about 1 hour to work. Now, the product label does say it’s instant acting, but I would be careful with those statements. The metabolic processes take a while to fully kick in; for some people, it’s an hour, for others, it could be a bit more.
How long does The Liquid Stuff last?
The Liquid Stuff lasts up to 5 hours. But for drug testing purposes, some reviews have stated that it might rapidly stop working after about 3 hours. When timing for tests, try using it right around 3 hours before.
Is This A Product You Should Try?
Unfortunately, our tests and analysis of online reviews show that this is not a reliable enough product. Taking it might be suitable for very light or occasional smokers.
But even then, you have some better products available to help pass a drug test.
Our top recommendation still remains Clear Choice Rescue Cleanse.
We have tested it with quite a few people and different levels of partying. Other than submitting a fake piss sample, it’s still one of the best choices you could be making.
