Xpulsion Detox Review
It seems like the market and the Internet have been flooded with detox drinks in the last year. Xpulsion is one such detox drink that has a lot of fancy marketing that promises instant results.
But we’ve often found that fancy marketing doesn’t make them powerful enough for a urine drug test.
To see how well it works, we put it through our tried and tested process that we’ve used for over 50 different detox drink products.
Most of these detox drinks did not live up to the marketing claims.
Let’s start how this one did.
What Is Xpulsion Detox?
X-Pulsion Detox claims to be a rapid cleansing detox drink that flushes unwanted toxins out of your system and lasts for up to 10 hours.
With that claim, it seems like it should be one of the stronger detox drinks, as they mostly help people to produce clean piss for about 4 to 5 hours.
The company Herbal Extreme says they have used a proven list of herbs that would remove more toxins than similar products.
The first thing we noted during our research is that the official website is pretty basic with a not so great online store.
It might not mean anything, but if they were as popular and effective as they claim, then we’d expect a more professional online presence.
Ingredients
Unlike many other detox drink products, X-Pulsion detox drinks seem to focus on a small number of ingredients. Sometimes, that can be a good thing if the chosen formula actually works.
Here’s what’s in it.
1 – Creatine Monohydrate
This doesn’t actually directly help with the detox process. The reason it’s included in this detox drink is to boost the creatinine levels in your piss to pass a drug test.
Why is this important?
Creatinine is a natural waste product. And a drug test will always check if there is a lack of creatinine [1].
During a detox, you’ll flush out a lot of pee, and this could dilute it too much to trigger a warning during testing.
2 – Cascara Sagrada
This herb is commonly used as a laxative in detox drinks. The problem is that you’re probably not all that interested in using laxatives to flush out your bowels.
It’s more your piss that needs to be toxin-free before a drug test.
3 – Psyllium Husk
The reason this is included in detox products is about providing digestive support through fiber. Again, we fail to see how this would help a person detox their blood and pee.
4 – Vitamins
It also contains a combination of different vitamins, including vitamin C. These may help as an antioxidant, but customers could just as well buy a multivitamin.
Overall, the problem is that it’s more geared towards flushing toxins from your stomach than your body overall.
How Does It Work?
Based on our research into this detox drink and online review comments, it seems like the chosen herbs may make your digestive tract and urinary tract a bit more effective at flushing out all the unwanted stuff.
Some of the vitamins in this detox drink may help to remove toxins from your body by boosting liver and kidney activities as well [2].
The big question is whether this is going to be enough for people to pass a urine test.
We did see a lot of positive high star ratings, but many of them don’t have comments. This could indicate that it works well for the body to detox the stomach, which seems to be what it was designed to do.
But with the product advertising in a lot of herbal areas, it’s a bit questionable whether the drug test results would help for drug use.
How Do You Use It?
Here are the directions to follow.
- Don’t use any weed or other drugs for at least 4 days
- Drink the entire bottle of X-Pulsion detox drink within 15 minutes
- After 10 minutes refill the bottle with water and drink within 15 minutes
- Urinate 3 to 4 times
- Your pee should be clean after 1 hour, which may last for up to 8 hours

Now, you do have the option of a 16 oz or 32 oz detox drink bottle and which one you choose would depend on your physical size and the number of toxins you’re exposed to.
Overall, the directions seem to be OK and what we’ve seen with most detox drink instructions. The one thing we’d be cautious of is the Herbal Extreme claim that it might cleanse you for up to 8 hours.
That seems a bit optimistic for a detox drink.
Now, it’s time to look at how it did in our testing.
Does It Work?
Our standard testing process involves choosing a suitable party weekend and then going through the detox on the Wednesday after. We order a few home drug test kits and then see how the body reacts.
Unfortunately, 3 out of the 4 tests we did came up with a failed result. In addition, at least one of our friends tried it in a similar way and got a diluted result at an official drug test lab.
Fortunately, we had a solution for him.
More on that shortly.
FAQ
How long does it take for X-Pulsion Detox Drink to work?
It takes about 1 hour for X-Pulsion Detox Drink to work. Some review comments have said that the larger bottles may produce laxative effects in less than that. But for the purposes of passing urine tests, this is unlikely to help.
How long will X-Pulsion last?
X-Pulsion claims to last for up to 8 hours, but that seems to be unrealistic. It may be the case that your stomach is toxin-free for that long, but your pee will quickly show traces of toxins again.
