After a year of intense investigation, two men have been arrested on drug trafficking charges in Hudson, Massachusetts.
The arrests came Friday when Hudson police executed a search warrant at a Stow residence, uncovering significant quantities of illegal substances.
The suspects, identified as 29-year-old Francis Feliz Mejia of Roxbury and 33-year-old Charles Claussen of Stow, were taken into custody following the raid.
Officers discovered $7,880 in cash, along with 393.8 grams of cocaine, 31.4 grams of fentanyl, and various drug paraphernalia during the search.
This investigation was spearheaded by officers Jason Hatstat and Cameron O’Toole from the street crimes unit, along with Detective James Connolly.
Their efforts were praised by Chief Richard DiPersio, who expressed pride in their work and emphasized the department’s commitment to keeping the community safe.
“They have made a significant difference, and I hope residents feel safer knowing our department will not tolerate illegal drugs being sold in our community,” DiPersio stated.
Chief DiPersio also commended the department’s K9 unit and extended thanks to partner agencies, including the FBI’s Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council SWAT team, and the Stow Police Department, for their support during the investigation.
Mejia faces charges of trafficking a Class A substance, trafficking over 200 grams of a Class B substance, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
He is being held on a $1 million bond. Claussen, charged with trafficking over 200 grams of a Class B substance, conspiracy, and possession of a Class E substance, has a bail set at $500,000.
Both men are scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Middlesex District Court. It remains unclear if they have secured legal representation.
This bust is part of Hudson’s ongoing crackdown on illegal drug activity, as law enforcement continues its efforts to protect the community.
