Rocky Mount Heroin Bust Leads to Three Arrests, 350 Doses Seized

In Rocky Mount, North Carolina, three men have been arrested after a drug raid uncovered a significant stash of heroin.

Acting on community tips, Edgecombe County deputies executed a search warrant at a home on Rosewood Avenue, leading to the apprehension of Darrell “DJ” Willis Jr., Curtis Ralo Kelly, and Zakiy Mclain.

Willis, known for past drug offenses, was the subject of the investigation.

Authorities discovered 350 doses of heroin, small amounts of cocaine, and crack cocaine, along with two firearms—one possibly stolen.

Both Willis and Kelly, being convicted felons, were barred from firearm possession. The search also revealed over $1,200 in cash.

The charges for Willis and Kelly include heroin trafficking, cocaine possession with intent to sell, and firearm possession by a felon.

Their bonds were set at $750,000 and $300,000, respectively. Mclain, facing similar charges, received a $200,000 bond. All three men await trial as the investigation continues.
