A drug investigation in Ohio has led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man, uncovering 7.5 grams of suspected fentanyl.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office announced that Thomas W. Harris, II, of Woodsfield, was arrested following an ongoing investigation into local drug activity.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop along State Route 78, where K9 Jade performed an open-air sniff of the vehicle, leading to the discovery of the illicit substance.
Harris now faces charges of drug possession and tampering with evidence. He remains in custody at the Monroe County Jail as the investigation continues.
