Nebraska Meth Trafficking Sting Nets 13 Arrests in Sweeping Federal and State Crackdown

Last Updated On: March 31, 2025

In a high-stakes strike across central Nebraska, federal and local authorities arrested 13 individuals in a sweeping operation targeting a major methamphetamine distribution network. Eight suspects now face federal drug conspiracy charges, while five others were booked on state counts.

The joint crackdown, led by the CODE Task Force with support from Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI, followed months of quiet surveillance and culminated in the unsealing of multiple indictments and the execution of several search warrants.

A superseding indictment charged Manuel Enrique Corona-Ramirez, Shawn Norris, Trevor Hardin, and Omar Gonzalez-Garcia with conspiring to distribute over 500 grams of meth from March 2024 through February 2025.

Reyes Ernesto Garcia-Urquizo and Enrique Martinez had already been arrested in connection with the case. If convicted, each could face 10 years to life in federal prison, a $10 million fine, and at least five years of supervised release.

In a separate but connected case, Adelso Saravia and Adriana Zepeda Rivera were charged with conspiring to distribute over 50 grams of meth between October and November of 2024.

The penalties mirror those in the larger conspiracy, underscoring the federal government’s no-nonsense stance on drug trafficking.

These indictments mark a sharp escalation in regional drug enforcement, sending a clear message: the pipeline pushing meth into Midwestern communities is being squeezed. With law enforcement tightening its grip, Nebraska is no longer flying under the radar in the fight against narcotics.

Officials urge the public to remain vigilant. Anyone with information on drug trafficking can contact the FBI at tips.fbi.gov or call 402-492-8688. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via Nebraska Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-1494.
