A Phoenix man faces felony drug and weapons charges after Minneapolis police seized nearly ten pounds of fentanyl during a raid last week.

According to court documents, officers searched a home on Fremont Avenue North on October 16, finding 43-year-old Kiron Jamoll Williams inside with a woman.

Investigators say Williams ran into the bathroom carrying a bag of white powder, dumping it into the toilet as officers entered. The air grew so thick with residue that deputies said they could taste it, prompting safety procedures for chemical exposure.

Authorities say Williams admitted he was sleeping on the couch before police entered and acknowledged flushing what he called “product,” though he claimed he thought it was cocaine.

Inside the home, officers reported finding 4.5 kilograms of fentanyl, more than 700 grams of meth, 13 pounds of cannabis, three firearms, and roughly $46,000 in cash. They also recovered equipment linked to drug processing, including a kilo press and a blender covered in residue.

Court records show Williams has prior felony convictions for assault and drug crimes, barring him from owning firearms. Investigators are still trying to identify another man who, according to a neighbor, jumped out of a window during the raid.
