A major bust in Brownfield, Maine, has led to the arrest of 52-year-old Joey St. Hilaire, following a raid by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) and State Police.

Authorities confiscated illegal drugs valued at $90,000, firearms, and over $25,000 in suspected drug profits from his residence.

The investigation, sparked weeks ago by concerns about illegal firearm possession, culminated in a search of St. Hilaire’s home at 7 Fulcher Ln.

Officers initially entered looking for firearms but soon uncovered drug trafficking paraphernalia.

A subsequent search warrant revealed more alarming finds: two firearms, including a loaded handgun, 500 rounds of ammunition, and over three pounds of fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine, all packaged for sale.

St. Hilaire, a convicted felon, faces multiple charges including aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs and illegal firearm possession. His bail was set at $75,000 as he awaits trial at the Oxford County Jail.

This operation highlights law enforcement’s ongoing battle against drug distribution in York and Oxford Counties, with significant support from the MDEA.

The raid not only disrupts local trafficking but underscores the dangers posed by felons illegally armed with weapons.

As drug enforcement efforts continue, authorities are likely to ramp up similar actions, putting traffickers on notice that their time is running out.
