Indiana Woman Arrested for Meth Distribution in Montgomery County

Indiana State Police (ISP) arrested a Montgomery County woman on multiple felony charges related to methamphetamine distribution following an investigation in Darlington.

On September 20, ISP troopers searched a residence on Main Street, identifying 48-year-old Rebecca Scarbrough as the suspect.

Based on probable cause, authorities obtained a warrant to search the home, where they reportedly found meth, unidentified pills, and drug paraphernalia.

Scarbrough now faces several charges, including:

  • Dealing methamphetamine (Level 5 felony)
  • Possession of methamphetamine (Level 6 felony)
  • Possession of a narcotic drug (Level 6 felony)
  • Possession of a legend drug (Level 6 felony)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor)

The seized substances are currently being tested to confirm their contents.
