A Hazelton man, Dakota Whitehouse, was arrested on Wednesday after attempting to interfere with a court-mandated drug test, according to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities were alerted by Gibson County Community Corrections officials, who informed Sheriff Bruce Vanoven that Whitehouse had used a device to tamper with the urine screening required by his probation.
Following an investigation, Sheriff Vanoven discovered the device and questioned the 29-year-old about the incident.
Whitehouse was subsequently arrested and taken to Gibson County Jail, where he faces a Class B misdemeanor charge for interfering with a drug or alcohol screening test.
This arrest highlights the Sheriff’s Office’s continued commitment to ensuring compliance with probation requirements in the community.
