A month-long investigation into a drug distribution operation in Little Egg Harbor has led to charges against five Ocean County residents, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation culminated in a raid at a residence on Bear Hollow Court.
Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer reported that John Pecoreno, 40, and Elysia Sullins, 23, were using the house to store and distribute cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin.
On Sept. 6, detectives observed the pair leave the house, drive through several towns in Ocean County, and return. The Ocean County Regional SWAT Team executed a court-authorized search warrant shortly after.
The search uncovered approximately 1,050 wax folds of heroin, 36 grams of methamphetamine, 10 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and various items indicating narcotics distribution.
At the time of the raid, Pecoreno’s father, Vincent Pecoreno, 61, and West Creek resident Erron Gransden, 38, were present and found near the seized narcotics.
Keyon Randolph, 25, of Lakewood, was arrested the same day in a separate narcotics-related incident in Lakewood.
John Pecoreno was charged with multiple offenses related to the possession and distribution of drugs and remains in the Ocean County Jail awaiting trial.
Sullins was similarly charged but was released under bail reform. Vincent Pecoreno was charged with possession-related offenses and is set to appear in Ocean County Superior Court.
Gransden, facing conspiracy and possession charges, was also released under bail reform.
This investigation reflects ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat narcotics distribution in Ocean County.
