Two men faced court Thursday after Irish authorities seized nearly 200kg of drugs in coordinated raids across Laois and Dublin.
Gardaí uncovered 182kg of cocaine and 4kg of cannabis herb during a search in Mountmellick, County Laois, on Tuesday.
A follow-up operation in west Dublin led to the discovery of another 17kg of cocaine, along with €25,000 (£20,700) in cash. Officers also confiscated eight vehicles and various drug-related materials.
Authorities estimate the street value of the seized drugs exceeds €14 million (£11.6 million), marking one of the largest recent narcotics interceptions in Ireland.
The two suspects, both in their 40s, have been remanded in custody. A third individual arrested in connection with the case has been released without charge, according to Gardaí.
Investigations remain ongoing as law enforcement intensifies efforts to dismantle organized crime networks fueling the drug trade.
