Alleged Gang Member Arrested in Roanoke Drug Bust

An alleged gang member was arrested during a drug bust in Roanoke on September 12, according to Virginia State Police.

The Star City Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, Roanoke Police’s Gang Interdiction Unit, and Virginia State Police Special Operations executed two search warrants at addresses on Panorama Ave NW and Hershberger Rd NW.

Law enforcement reportedly seized 626 grams of heroin and fentanyl, 75 grams of cocaine, eight firearms, and an undisclosed amount of money.

Anthony Brehon Reese, 32, of Roanoke, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of firearms by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm while in possession of Schedule I/II narcotics.

Reese is being held at the Roanoke Adult Detention Center without bond. Police say additional charges are pending.
